Choir
Choir CCA nurtures our choristers’ passion for music and singing while developing their vocal skills and musical appreciation. Through collaborative learning, members build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and resilience as they learn to blend their voices in harmony during performances.
Objectives
Our choristers will be developed holistically across three key areas:
Skills:
Develop vocal and choral techniques, strengthen music literacy, and enhance ensemble performance skills.
Values:
Build resilience, integrity, and responsibility while appreciating cultural diversity through varied musical experiences.
Leadership:
Foster mentorship, initiative, and confidence as students take on roles leading peers and representing the school.

Programme Highlights:
Our choristers proudly represent the school at various platforms, including school celebrations like Prize Giving Day, as well as national events such as the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation. They also perform at external performances such as the National Day Observance Ceremony for the Buona Vista Community Club. Our choristers are also provided with opportunities to collaborate and share music with choir groups from other schools during school exchanges and bring joy to the community through performances at various outreach events.

Students’ Experiences
“I love to sing with my friends in Choir, sometimes we play games to help us to sing better. I remember the first time I sang a song with my friends on stage, I felt so excited and proud of myself. That is when I found out I will enjoy Choir very much.” – Li Liyu
“I love to sing with my Choir friends. When I joined as a new member in Primary 3, I will always remember how my senior helped me to sing better and improve my pitching. I am always so grateful for her, and I wish to do the same too with my junior members.” - Ariana Rose Binte Yunani
