Our learning experiences
New Town Primary enriches student learning through the Applied Learning Programme (Design Thinking and real-world projects), the Learning for Life Programme (student leadership), and an EdTech curriculum (digital skills from P1 to P6) — all anchored by a Learning Disposition framework that nurtures every child into a Passionate Learner, Critical Thinker, and Anchored Leader.
Applied Learning Programme
New Town Primary's Applied Learning Programme equips students with critical thinking and adaptability through Design Thinking, tackling real-world problems from an early age. As students progress, they grow from hands-on activities to meaningful community projects, building strong problem-solving skills every step of the way.
Learning for Life Programme
Discover how student leader nominees build real leadership skills through team activities and hands-on school experiences, preparing them to take on formal roles as Prefects and Peer Support Leaders.
Educational Technology
New Town Primary's EdTech curriculum equips students with key digital skills for the future through e-Pedagogy and ICT programmes spanning P1 to P6, covering everything from basic coding to responsible online participation. The Acceptable Use Policy also guides students on being safe, responsible digital citizens — from respecting copyright and using AI responsibly, to maintaining digital wellbeing and balance.
Learning Disposition
New Town Primary nurtures every child to become a Passionate Learner, Critical Thinker, and Anchored Leader. This section explains how learning dispositions such as motivation, curiosity, and empathy are assessed across four levels — from demonstrating them with support, to doing so consistently and independently — with clear behavioral indicators to help students, parents, and teachers track each child's growth.
