English
New Town Primary's English programme offers a rich and well-rounded language experience across P1 to P6, spanning the STELLAR programme, Outdoor Learning Experiences, Extended Reading, Writing, and Reading Circles — nurturing confident, creative, and capable communicators.
Mother Tongue languages
New Town Primary's Mother Tongue programme goes beyond language skills, helping students connect with their culture and heritage through a rich variety of experiences — from the Language & Cultural Camp and Guided Reading Programme, to Conversational Chinese and Malay (CCM), live cultural performances, and festive celebrations including Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, and Deepavali that bring learning to life.
Mathematics
New Town Primary's Mathematics programme builds confident, lifelong learners through inquiry-based learning and technology. Catering to every level of ability, it offers early intervention support through Learning Support Mathematics (P1 to P4), enrichment through the Excellence 2000 (E2K) programme (P4 to P5), and Olympiad training and competitions for students ready to tackle more challenging problems (P3 to P6).
Science
New Town Primary's Science programme inspires students to think, inquire, and apply Science in daily life. From hands-on experiential projects (P3 to P6) and advanced scientific inquiry through the E2K Science Programme (P4 to P5), to competing in prestigious events like the Raffles Science Olympiad and Singapore Primary Science Olympiad, students are nurtured to be curious and capable young scientists.
Physical and health education
New Town Primary's Physical Education programme builds skills, healthy habits, and values for active living. From Sports Day (P1 to P3) and Sports Orama interclass competitions (P4 to P6), to Sports Education Programmes introducing new sports like golf and bowling (P3 to P4), and the Camp Endeavour outdoor adventure experience (P5), students are given every opportunity to grow in resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Art and Music
New Town Primary's Art and Music programmes spark creativity and nurture a lifelong love for the arts. In Music, students perform and build instruments through Music Maestros and Music Makers, and learn to play the ukulele in P3. In Art, students express themselves through the New Town Artists competition and hands-on experiences like P5 Ceramics, building visual literacy, confidence, and cultural appreciation along the way.
CCE
New Town Primary's CCE programme builds good character, resilience, and active citizenship through a rich range of experiences — from PAL (P1 and P2), CCE lessons covering mental health and cyber wellness, Student Development Experiences, and Everyday Responsibilities, to community involvement and student leadership opportunities.
