English

New Town Primary's English programme offers a rich and well-rounded language experience across P1 to P6, spanning the STELLAR programme, Outdoor Learning Experiences, Extended Reading, Writing, and Reading Circles — nurturing confident, creative, and capable communicators.

Mother Tongue languages

New Town Primary's Mother Tongue programme nurtures language skills and cultural pride through enriching experiences — from guided reading and cultural camps, to live performances, conversational Malay and Chinese, and festive celebrations that bring heritage to life.

Mathematics

New Town Primary's Mathematics programme builds confident, lifelong learners through inquiry-based learning and technology. Catering to every level of ability, it offers early intervention support through Learning Support Mathematics (P1 to P4), enrichment through the Excellence 2000 (E2K) programme (P4 to P5), and Olympiad training and competitions for students ready to tackle more challenging problems (P3 to P6).

Science

New Town Primary's Science programme inspires curiosity and inquiry through hands-on experiential learning (P3 to P6), advanced scientific investigation via the E2K Programme (P4 to P5), and participation in competitions such as the Raffles Science Olympiad and Singapore Primary Science Olympiad.

Physical and health education

New Town Primary's PE programme builds skills, healthy habits, and values for active living through Sports Day (P1 to P3), Sports Orama interclass competitions (P4 to P6), Sports Education Programmes introducing new sports like golf and bowling (P3 to P4), and the Camp Endeavour outdoor adventure experience (P5).

Art and music

New Town Primary's Art and Music programmes spark creativity and a love for the arts — from ukulele playing, Music Maestros, and Music Makers, to the New Town Artists competition and P5 Ceramics, building visual literacy, confidence, and cultural appreciation.

Character and Citizenship Education

New Town Primary's CCE programme nurtures good character, resilience, and active citizenship through PAL, CCE lessons, Student Development Experiences, and Everyday Responsibilities — with information on MOE Sexuality Education also available here.
