Football
Football CCA provides a safe and holistic environment for boys to develop their passion for football while growing in character and confidence. Through structured training and competitive opportunities, our footballers strengthen their skills and character on and off the field.
Objectives
In Football, the boys will be developed in these three key areas:
Skills:
Develop a strong foundation in essential football skills such as ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, and offensive and defensive techniques, while sharpening their game awareness and decision-making. These skills enable our footballers to play with confidence and tactical awareness on the field.
Values:
Learn the importance of teamwork and communication by working together towards a common goal while supporting and encouraging one another. They cultivate effort and commitment by giving their best, persevering through challenges, and striving for continuous improvement. Above all, they uphold integrity and fair play, demonstrating honesty and respect for opponents and officials.
Leadership:
Besides the Senior and Junior Captains and Vice Captains, footballers are entrusted with leadership responsibilities such as overseeing logistics and leading warm-up sessions. Logistics in-charge ensure that equipment is prepared before each training session and properly accounted for afterwards, while warm-up leaders guide their teammates through warm-up routines to promote readiness, discipline, and injury prevention. Through these authentic leadership opportunities, our footballers develop accountability, initiative, confidence, and the ability to lead by example while serving and inspiring others.

Programme Highlights
Training Sessions
The weekly training sessions develop our players' technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and character. Dynamic warm-ups are followed by skill-based drills, small-sided games, and match play, allowing players to apply and reinforce their learning in realistic game situations.
National School Games (NSG)
Participation in the National School Games (NSG) provides our footballers with the opportunity to apply their skills and teamwork in a competitive environment. Through the competition, they develop resilience, discipline, sportsmanship, and mental toughness as they learn to perform under pressure, overcome setbacks, and represent the school with pride and integrity.
Friendly Matches & Carnivals
Friendly matches with other schools provide our footballers with valuable opportunities to apply their skills in authentic game situations while gaining exposure to different playing styles. These matches build confidence, strengthen teamwork and communication, and foster sportsmanship, resilience, and respect for opponents, serving as valuable preparation for the National School Games (NSG).

It is important to respect my teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees, and to remain positive whether we win or lose. By displaying good character, I can become a better footballer and a better person.” – Choo Yan Yu
“Football is about communication and trust between team members. By encouraging one another, listening to each other, and working together towards a common goal, we can perform better as a team.” – Eden Matin S’yar Bin Rahim
