Students’ Experiences
“I enjoy creating art with my teachers and friends. Through my CCA, I have learnt to use Procreate to create digital artworks such as pixel art, self-portraits, and most recently, New Town Diaries—comic strips about our experiences in New Town Primary. As a CCA Leader, I have also had the opportunity to suggest and plan activities such as Start It Right for the members of my CCA, allowing me to contribute ideas and make our CCA experience more enjoyable for everyone.” – Mahathi Arunkumar
I prefer to create 3D artworks using materials like jumping clay. I have learnt how to make some Singapore snacks like the tutu kueh, durian and ice cream puff by applying techniques and skills we learnt during art lessons and CCA sessions. We had more time to collaborate with one another as we contributed different food items to create a food platter for the module.” – Erin Young
